The Innovation Growth Lab Global Conference 2018 (IGL2018) will bring together senior policymakers, practitioners and researchers from across the globe to explore future innovation and entrepreneurship policies through inspiring keynotes and panels, interactive sessions and a range of capacity-building workshops.

Taking place over three days in June at the Harvard Business School and MIT Media Lab, conference attendees will:

  • Learn about the next generation of innovation and entrepreneurship policies
  • Engage in wide-ranging discussions on crucial policy challenges including embedding innovation skills across the workforce, testbeds, and innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems
  • Improve your organization’s capability to design policies that deliver measurable impact, using different tools such as randomized controlled trials and big data
  • Meet a global community of peers to learn from and share experiences with

There are over 40 speakers confirmed and more than 13 practical sessions and workshops. Participants are invited to attend one of more IGL2018 days.

Program highlights:

  • IGL Research Meeting (Tuesday, June 12): A forum for researchers to discuss design-stage, ongoing and completed academic research that uses experimental methods in innovation, entrepreneurship and growth.
  • IGL Global Conference (Wednesday, June 13): A day of inspiring keynotes, thought-provoking debates and parallel sessions for more focused and interactive discussions.
  • IGL Policy & Practice Learning Lab (Thursday, June 14): Hands-on capacity-building workshops and smaller practical sessions to discuss some of the latest developments in this policy area and the different approaches to put them into practice.
