This spring, MIT will pilot a new way to provide more / faster fabrication and maker-type training for students and postdocs. In this lunch meeting, Project Manus seeks your thoughts on the pilot program prior to launch. In exchange, you’ll be granted early access to the program and get expanded training (starter and advanced training) in:

  • CAD (computer aided design)
  • CAM (computer aided manufacturing)
  • Waterjets
  • Welding
  • Metal machining (lathe/mill/drill press/bandsaw)
  • CNC metal machining (mill/lathe)
  • Laser cutters
  • Electronics
  • Programming
  • Thermoforming
  • 3D printing
  • Others

All undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs are welcome.
