Hosted by: Solve

Want to help fix the world? Solve is an initiative from MIT aimed at developing real and lasting solutions to the world’s greatest challenges.

As part of Solve at UN, students are invited to join a full-day Solve-a-thon where you will work to ideate, refine, prototype, and pitch new solutions to challenges in healthcare, education, sustainability, or economic prosperity. The event will be facilitated by members of the New York City chapter of Engineers for a Sustainable World, along with Solve subject matter experts who will provide technical background on the challenges before and during the ideation process.

At the end of the day, you’ll pitch your ideas to the group for audience awards, and you’ll have a solution ready when the challenges are officially launched in May 2017. Join in to develop responses to big issues, meet new friends, and spend a day at the United Nations!
