PROGRAM MANAGERMIT Innovation Initiative (MITii), to innovate in three spheres within MIT’s innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) ecosystem: new program development, community and network ambassadorship, and I&E academics. Through a unique innovation thesis, will drive internal team ideation to propose, create, and run new innovation programs based, in-part, on the personal skillset brought to MITii. Will act as the primary MITii ambassador for staff and student leaders working in I&E and serve as the connective tissue between I&E resources on campus; build and maintain a catalog on programs, resources, and information to be used as a guide by the MIT ecosystem; map and develop student pathway stories and data visualizations; lead the MITii team in building impactful events showcasing MIT innovation to the world; administer MIT’s I&E minor; and manage a team of MIT students.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree; at least three years’ relevant experience managing programs; excellent networking, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; ability to work with a diverse team, balancing the interests and needs of stakeholders at all levels; and ability to prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. Seek a self-starter who is able to forge productive relationships and align strategies, has experience creating communities and managing resources, and can operate successfully in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
