A pitch competition open to entrepreneurs innovating in the healthcare space

The Sloan Healthcare Innovations Prize (SHIP) is a pitch competition open to entrepreneurs innovating in the healthcare space. Previous competitors have presented ideas in disease diagnostics, payer-provider stream-lining, and bacterial infection control, just to name a few.

The mission of SHIP is to support early stage healthcare startups by providing feedback from experienced industry professionals, workshops on pitch instruction, and a chance to compete for more than $30,000 in prize money. This year’s grand prize is $25,000, sponsored by Optum. The finals are open to the public and admission is free.

Additionally, SHIP has partnered with MassChallenge to add benefit for applicants:

  • 25% MassChallenge application discount for all SHIP applicants
  • 100% MassChallenge application reimbursement for SHIP grand prize winner
  • Invitation to attend MassChallenge Kick-off event on 2/8/2018
