Sloan Women in Management works to increase opportunities for all women at MIT Sloan through networking events, speaker series, professional development workshops, and mentorship programs. Flagship events include the annual C-function, women’s ambassador day for incoming students, and an annual end of year celebration brunch. SWIM’s biggest event is a conference each year centered around various topics of interest to the SWIM community, most recently about identifying and managing unconscious bias.

The most recent SWIM conference is themed Breaking the MoldBreaking the Mold is an initiative by MIT Sloan Women in Management aimed at starting a conversation about unconscious bias and developing approaches to manage these biases on the road towards equal opportunity for all.
