Hosted by: iHub at GM
You’re invited to rethink and redesign General Motors’ (GM) bluetooth testing strategy. GM is bringing cars for you to work on, proprietary simulators and APIs, engineers to work with you, exclusive training sessions, and more.
The top solutions you come up with will be implemented. One team will participate in an externship with GM in Detroit to build their idea during an all-inclusive two-week experience.
The way that we “wrench” on vehicles nowadays isn’t how your parents did it — instead of getting greasy under the vehicle, just plug in and learn how GM’s proprietary APIs can be used to automate many functions across the vehicle.
This isn’t a “feel-good” hackathon where you’ll be asked to present to executives, then go back to class — iHub at GM is about finding new ways to move faster when it comes to innovation. Do well at this hackathon and you’ll be invited to Detroit for an all-inclusive externship at GM (January 16–26, 2018) where you will get to test your strategy on unreleased products. Do well enough in Detroit, and you’ll be invited back for an internship (summer 2018) to work on the future of connectivity.
Come learn about it on January 9 at 7 pm outside Kresge on the blacktop (in a heated tent!). There will be speakers, food, and vehicles to experience!
