Hosted by: Project Manus
Maker Break is a celebration of making for MIT students where you can have fun and show your smart and creative sides. You can engage in friendly competition with fellow students, cheer on your friends and classmates, and explore making in ways that are new to you. There is something for everyone! It is designed to be fun and low stress.
Form a team of 4–6 people and tackle a mystery challenge for which you will be given arduino raspberry pi’s, makey makey’s, legos, duct tape and more.
For less competition-focused making, some of the activities available at MIT Maker Break are:
- Jewelry Making
- Vinyl Cutting
- Candle Making
- Delish Chocolate Break
- Origami Station
- Button Making
Come at 5:30 pm to enjoy a burrito from Anna’s Taqueria!
