Hosted by MIT School of Engineering and MIT Sloan School of Management

Join Leon Sandler (Executive Director, MIT Deshpande Center), Professor Edward Roberts (Founder/Chair of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship) and nine select faculty from Science and Engineering for a mini-hackathon to work on entrepreneurial possibilities on “what’s new” and “what’s hot” in multiple areas of technology.

Brief faculty presentations will pose “challenges” to identify possible products and businesses that might come out of their research projects. Everyone will be able to review and prioritize in advance which topics seem most exciting and will then be organized into table groups to pursue entrepreneurial “hacking” on the challenges. MBA students from the MIT Sloan Entrepreneurship & Innovation Track will partner with those from the rest of MIT (including School of Science, School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, and School of Architecture + Planning) in the mixed tables.
