A two-year fellowship to turn your technology concept into a product.

Activate is creating a new path for world-changing innovators by helping scientists and engineers to develop and commercialize their technologies.

We support projects in microelectronics, climate, energy, advanced manufacturing, and more.
This fellowship is an exceptional opportunity for post-docs, graduating students, or alumni who want to push their research out of the lab. This year, we have launched a new location, Activate Boston, through a partnership with MIT Lincoln Laboratory.
Fellows receive:
  • A yearly cash stipend of $80K – $110K, health and travel benefits
  • Access to world-class research facilities at MIT Lincoln Lab
  • $100K in research funding
  • A program of intensive entrepreneurial training, mentorship, and networking
