Mike Bloomberg announces an open call for solutions to global challenges facing the new economy. Entrepreneurs, academics, founders, and big thinkers are invited to submit their solutions to societal problems that need momentum, support, and adoption from the private sector.

The Bloomberg New Economy Solutions initiative is founded on the belief that promising, lasting solutions to our problems are already out there; we just have to pay attention to them, grow them, share them, and turn them into the new normal.

DETAILS

• Deadline: Please submit your solution as soon as possible. Submissions will be reviewed and the committee will be conducting interviews on a rolling basis through August 15, 2019.
• Seven solutions aligned to each of the core topic area — trade, technology, climate, finance and capital markets, inclusion, urbanization, and global governance — will be selected this fall.
• Chosen solutions will be shared with nearly 500 of the world’s most powerful and influential people at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Beijing this November. A representative from each solution will attend the forum and receive ongoing support from Bloomberg to amplify and strengthen the impact of each project.
