Carmen Martin is a graduate student in the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST). She joined Prof. Sangeeta Bhatia's lab where she is interested in creating new tools to understand protease biology in the context cancer. Leveraging this understanding she aims to develop new nanotechnologies for the early detection of cancer and novel ways to improve the therapeutic window of immunotherapies. Carmen is originally from Spain and outside the lab enjoys dancing, learning new languages and cooking.
