About Cecile

Cecile is a PhD candidate in Prof. A. John Hart's group, where she works on applying low-temperature polymer synthesis to the development of scalable composite manufacuturing techniques and 3D printing methods. She graduated with a MS in Materials Science & Engineering from Mines Paristech (France), and conducted research in optics and photonics in the US, the UK and France before settling down for graduate school at MIT and joining th Hart group in 2017. Outside of lab, she is the creator of the DMSE REFS (Resources for Easing Friction and Stress) program, which provides confidential support to graduate students who encounter conflict or difficult situations during their time at MIT.
