About Duhan

Duhan Zhang is a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT Department of Materials Science and Engineering, honored with the MITEI Fellowship. She received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University with support of Telluride Association Fellowship. During her academic journey, she received numerous awards and honors. She aims to tackle the pressing challenges at the energy-climate-sustainability nexus, focusing on understanding and implementing chemically and electrochemically mediated processes. Her current research focuses on energy materials, electrochemical energy storage and converson systems, and electrification of materials reuse and recycle. Outside academia, she enjoys playing violin, painting, skiing, and scuba diving.
