About Jing

Yeo Jing Ying is a PhD student at MIT. She is currently working on microporous polymeric membranes in Professor Zachary Smith's Lab. Jing Ying came from Singapore and has completed her B.E. degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She worked on the crystal engineering of Metal-organic frameworks for carbon capture applications and the Solidified Natural Gas (SNG) technology via the use of clathrate hydrates at NUS for her undergraduate research. She was a recipient of the A*STAR (Singapore’s lead government research agency) undergraduate scholarship. Outside of work, Jing Ying loves to sing and was a member of a Mandopop band at NUS.
