Dr. Liangliang Hao is a Research Scientist in Prof. Sangeeta Bhatia’s lab at MIT. Before joining the Bhatia Lab, she received her Ph.D. from Northwestern University under the guidance of Prof. Chad Mirkin. Her dissertation research focused on the synthesis, characterization, and application of nanomaterials for nucleic acid therapeutics. For postdoctoral training, she is working to further develop therapeutic delivery solutions from a multidisciplinary viewpoint, with a continuous interest in exploring the diagnostic and therapeutic capacities of rationally engineered biomaterials against tumor metastasis. Besides research, she loves cooking, water-ink painting and participating in science outreach events.
