Wenhui Tang is a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at MIT. Previously, she obtained her B.E. from Xi'an Jiaotong University (Xi'an, China) and M.S. degree here at MIT. Her research focuses on biophysics and cell mechanics in 3D multicellular systems, including collective curvature sensing, multicellular fluidity, packing topology, cell-matrix interaction in morphogenesis and diseases. She is passionate to apply fundamental science to healthcare application. Outside research, she likes photography, fitness, and cooking.
