InSync

About InSync

InSync is a novel pediatric respiratory monitoring device for the pediatric intensive care unit, focused on using simple, low-risk sensing to provide continuous, quantitative, objective monitoring and feedback on respiratory effort and status. The current standard-of-care is a “trained clinician eye,” which is subject to poor interobserver variability and difficult to track over time. The objective is to help clinicians provide better and more responsive care, decrease the rate of sedation, intubation, and ventilation for critically-ill babies and young kids, and thus reduce risk, length-of-stay, and cost of care while improving outcomes.
