Opportunity

Now in its 7th year, the Rabobank – MIT Food and Agribusiness Innovation Prize, sponsored by Rabobank and supported by MIT J-WAFS and the MIT Food and Agriculture Club, is the premier business plan and pitch competition for U.S. university and graduate students developing new products or technologies to improve sustainability in our food system. Past winners have included Antithesis Foods, Gramhal, EatWell Meal Kits, and Cambridge Crops.

The competition will take place in two stages. First round applications are due in January. Finalists teams will then be paired with mentors to further develop their ideas. This year at the final pitch event in April in Cambridge, MA, finalists will present their business plans and compete to win $30,000 in total prize money and invaluable mentorship and networking opportunities to help expand their businesses.
