Sports Technology and Education @ MIT (STE@M) partners with leaders across the field of sports to help define technical questions and challenges and work together to advance the state-of-the-art at the intersection of engineering and sports.

Programs & Opportunities

  • Annual Sports Technology Summit: This is the flagship event of STE@M. This two-day event brings together leaders across sports industries, organizations, and teams as well as MIT faculty and students to discuss the future of sport and research being done at the intersection of engineering and sports. Student volunteers are given the opportunity to meet and interact directly with those in the field.
  • Sports-industry Internships: Three and six-month internship opportunities may be available to students. These are across disciplines with sports industry partners, organizations, and startups.
