About Anna

Anna is a PhD student in Biological Engineering who is exploring intersections of DNA nanotechnology and immunology in the Bathe and Irvine labs at MIT. Before starting her career in STEM, she pursued the performing arts and continues to be passionate about ballet and violin. As an undergraduate at Georgia Tech, Anna studied biomedical engineering and worked in the Laboratory for Synthetic Immunity. In 2018, she co-founded TheGirlCodeProject, which provided STEM workshops for mothers and daughters in the Atlanta area. Anna looks forward to becoming involved in the community of women in STEM in Cambridge, through mentorship, teaching, and outreach.
