About Eesha

Eesha is a PhD Candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at MIT in the Program in Polymers and Soft Matter. She works on developing cutting-edge materials with mechanical properties that can be tuned for applications ranging from self-healing, to soft robotics, to preventing materials from failing. At MIT, Eesha has also participated in entrepreneurship activities at the Martin Trust Center with the startup she co-founded, Taxie (taxie.us), working on electrifying the ride share sector. Prior to MIT, Eesha graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University, with an MPhil from the University of Cambridge Trinity College, and worked at an energy startup and at the CA Energy Comission.
